DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us at\n \nThe Gordon for a Buffet Lunch \n \nJanuary 21, 2025 from 11:30 to 1:15pm\n \nPerkins & Co: Kim Spaulding, CPA Shareholder and Kelsi Miller, CPA Shareholer \n \nPreparation and Pitfalls of the Oregon 706\n \nKim Spaulding - Growing up in rural Oregon near Eugene, Kim spent summers crunching numbers alongside her father’s bookkeeper in his restaurant business. There, she learned early on that helping others and analyzing numbers just came naturally to her.  A second-generation OSU grad, Kim built a successful career in public accounting before joining Perkins. Now that she’s here, we can’t help wonder at her exceptional ability to form close bonds with clients and thoughtfully help them manage their wealth as part of our [legacy planning group](https://perkinsaccounting.com/services/legacy-planning/).\n \nKelsi Miller -  Years ago, Kelsi launched her accounting career at Perkins, joining the firm shortly before founder Cheryl Perkins retired. Struck by Cheryl’s drive, commitment to her clients, and dedication to family, Kelsi knew she had met a worthy role model.  Yet Kelsi had never planned to be an accountant. She stayed the course. After five years at Perkins, Kelsi moved to Eugene. Remote work was in its infancy, so she bid adieu to Perkins and energetically threw herself into building a career focused on estates and trusts and manufacturing and distribution.  But she never forgot her friends and the allure of Perkins’ je ne sais quoi culture. So, when the time was right to re-enter public accounting, Kelsi made a beeline for Perkins—and we were only too happy to welcome her back as a shareholder.\n \nPlease RSVP by January 11, 2025\n \n \n
