Relevant Updates from Tax Legislation and Planning in a Changing Environment
at the Gordon Hotel
In an era of rapid legislative, technological, and societal change, estate planners must remain agile and forward-thinking. This session will explore recent tax law developments that directly impact daily planning practices with clients. We’ll also examine strategies for navigating uncertainty through flexible drafting techniques, post-mortem planning, and administrative elections. As both client needs and legal frameworks continue to evolve, this seminar offers a timely and practical discussion on how to stay grounded, responsive, and effective in a shifting environment.
Meagan MacBean is a subject matter expert and adjunct instructor with Cannon Financial Institute. Meagan is also an attorney practicing in the areas of trust and estate administration, wealth transfer planning, and incapacity planning. Formerly a Trust Officer and a Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor, much of Meagan’s practice centers on advising individual and corporate trustees regarding trust administration, modification, decanting, and termination.
Meagan has written or co-written articles regarding choosing a fiduciary and the decanting and modification of existing irrevocable trusts and has also spoken on these topics. She also frequently addresses groups regarding the importance of having an estate plan.
